Fine: A Comic About Gender by Rhea Ewing

I really didn't know what to expect when I heard about a graphic novel about gender. What I found throughout the book was a truly empathetic and introspective author who worked really hard to share their interviewees' stories truthfully and kindly. I loved the art design, from panels that make you feel like you're there to panels with feelings/emotions/swirling thoughts drawn in as almost a cloak around a character. Rhea Ewing is a very talented artist and storyteller who was gracious enough to take us on their decade-long project from interview to completed book. I'm definitely recommending this to friends of all genders.
