The Inconvenient Indian Illustrated: A Curious Account of Native People in North America by Thomas King
informative
sad
medium-paced
4.25
Eye-opening and incredibly informative about the history of the U.S. and Canada as it relates to the many tribes and nations of Indigenous people in North America. The history is told in a conversational style with an often humorous tone that doesn’t paint over the many injustices and downright horrors perpetrated against Native Americans. King is able to present a vast amount of information without making it fell dry or overwhelming.
