Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!
My first response after completing Temptation was that it was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL and I haven’t changed my mind about that!!
Max had fantasized about Kit, but then he rescues her from a burning building one day and they embark on a three week, no strings attached fling. Max has been burned in the past by somebody that he loved so he is not looking for a permanent relationship. Originally he is fine with the deal that he and Kit made, but as that time went on he knew that he had to be there for her and have her in his life. He knew that he was “THE ONE” and he would be there for Kit and protect her.
Kit has had a rough life and had to grow up quick. She is a singer and has in her mind that she is responsible for taking care of a lot of people (especially her mom), but in return Kit doesn’t have anybody who looks after her or takes care of her. UNTIL MAX! When things go bad for Kit publicity wise Max is there to protect her and knows that he don’t want to leave her side ever again.
