The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger

4.0

The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angelberger is narrated by Tommy, a 6th grade student with a lot of questions about his classmate Dwight's finger-puppet who has recently been dispensing wisdom around the school. He's certainly seems to have more savvy than Dwight himself so Tommy has decided to collect some anecdotal evidence to determine if Yoda has some actual powers of insight. He interviews everyone that Yoda has assisted over the past few weeks to find out exactly what Yoda has advised and if it was helpful. His other friends chime in with their take on Yoda's recommendations and add some entertaining cartoons. The Strange Case of Origami Yoda is really the perfect middle grade novel with its quirky and humorous treatment of a range of typical MS issues.
