The Resistance by Gemma Malley

4.0

Although not quite as engaging as its predecessor [b:The Declaration|1722717|The Declaration|Gemma Malley|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1187405007s/1722717.jpg|1813124] this is still an enjoyable and fast paced read. The story picks up perhaps a few months later. Peter, Anna, and Ben are settling into life together, and to assist the Underground Peter has agreed to go to work for his Grandfather. They've agreed not to sign the Declaration, but after discovering shocking information both begin to question everything they believe in.

The story is told from the perspective of both Peter and Anna with the additional perspective of Peter's half-brother Jude. The Resistance covers a lot of the same ground as The Declaration as Peter and Anna continue to question both the motives of the Underground, and the benefits of Longevity although in this title it is Peter's faith that is truly shaken.
