Hell on Mars by J.Z. Foster, Justin M. Woodward

4.0

As someone who never really reads science fiction, I wasn't sure this would be for me. I'm glad my apprehension was completely unfounded. Hell on Mars is the tale of the Perihelion crew who are sent to find out what happened when communications failed. Once they set foot on Mars, and get some electricity up and running, its fair to say that absolute hell breaks out.
I've seen this compared to other sci-fi stories like Doom or The Thing and while the comparisons are fair, I think it holds up in its own right. I loved the crew of Perihelion and and definitely looking forward seeing to what happens in the continuations.
