A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb

4.0

This book was simply amazingly breathtaking. It was 'Hereafter' by Tara Hudson, done right!
Books about the afterlife always interests me, but the ones I have read in the past were so cliché that I gave up picking up books on this subject. But damn I am glad I picked this one up.

What an interesting read! It was slow at first, but from page 60-80 it had me turning the pages like a manic.

The way the plot develops is really well done, and, for me, the best were the relationships between the families, and the subtleties in their words and gestures. The almost-istalove was not perfect, but didn't annoy me like it usually does.

A book that gets you thinking, about how your actions can affect others and how love can change your perspective on everything.
