Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez

GIVE IT ALL THE STARS
I honestly didn’t think I’d love it as much as I did. I’m not a huge fan of age gaps in general, so I was a bit iffy with this one. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved it.
Their story was so cute. I can’t stand how much I adored them. Though truth be told, Daniel was more mature than Alexis and she’s older. But this book was genuinely so cute!!! Daniel has my whole heart and he’s the epitome of a cinnamon roll mmc.
It's amazing how someone can touch you, even if you only know them for a moment in time. How they can change you, alter you indelibly. Daniel had altered me. I was already better for knowing him.
In honor of my love for him, here’s so quotes where I almost fell off my bed at how cute it was (his parts will be bolded):
“You know what's so dangerous about drowning?" I said, looking up at him. "It's silent. So unless someone's paying close attention to you, no one saves you."
He brushed my hair off my forehead. "I see you. I would save you if you were drowning."
But if were older, maybe it would have closed the gap a little. If I could snap my fingers and fast-forward a decade or to, I would. I'd lose all that time if it would make the difference.
This man was willing to give up his whole life just to be with her, I’m dead!!
But the funny thing was, even though I didn't fit into her life she fit into mine.
I looked at her a moment longer than I needed to, thinking leave me, how beautiful she was. I couldn't stop thinking it every time I looked at her. She made me feel like I must have done something right in a past life to get the privilege of being with her.
Nothing could convince me this woman wasn’t made for me to love. I think my soul recognized hers the second I laid eys an her.
The power she had over me terrified me. But it also gave
me clarity. There is a peace in knowing the one thing you cant live without. It simplifies all things. There was her, and then there was everything and everyone else. And only she really mattered. It was easy to know it. I just wished she knew it too.
Because sometimes family isn't what you're born into. Sometimes family is found. And I'd found mine in Wakan.
I'd found mine in him.
Now, please read this book. I highly recommend it and I think I’m obsessed with Abby’s now. Because this was everything.
