This is my lowest rating of a book ever and I honestly feel so bad about it. But hear me out!!! The book is NOT terrible. It was actually pretty good but I just could not get past how awful the writing was. I know it was translated from Spanish and originally written on Wattpad so it had to go through a good amount of editing but it still felt very much like a Wattpad book. Some of the sentences didn't even make sense and left me feeling confused or like I was missing something. It was honestly excruciating to read sometimes and so it took me forever to finish the book. HOWEVER!!!!!! I still enjoyed it, was it cheesy and unrealistic at times? YES! But this is fiction and it's not supposed to always feel real. This book transported me back to being 13 and reading Wattpad fanfiction into the early hours of the morning. Noah was annoying at times and Nick was dumb but I love them dearly. I liked the suspense of all the action and I love the way Nick loves Noah. Both of the characters had so many layers to them and I enjoyed learning about them and reading their love story. I would recommend this to friends who aren't overly picky about writing styles and are just reading for the vibes. I know I'll still be reading the second book!
