It's hard to articulate how much this book means to me. I suffered through a lot of childhood trauma, something that still haunts me. I have never read something that so exactly expresses the feeling, the thoughts, the actions someone takes in order to survive after something so damaging. Beautifully written and haunting, but full of love.
