I really expected to like this comic, but something about it didn’t work. I love this trope following an underdog character from poor roots as she becomes top choice for a court position. I didn’t love the character design (why were the rat noses such a weird shape?), Daisy crying all the time, or the awkward flow of decision making. Loved the reveals with Dee, and the whole concept of the book as well.
