Gluttony Bay by Matt Wallace

4.0

The, er, final course is almost upon us as Matt Wallace serves up the penultimate volume in the Sin du Jour menu. #6 is tautly plotted, and builds relentlessly to a denouement that we know is only the eye of the storm. Interestingly, Wallace doles out the one liners and non sequitors far more sparingly, and goes for the horror jugular rather than the funny bone. The ultimate result is easily the best in the sequence since the first couple.
