Object of Desire by Dal Maclean

4.5

Del Maclean has created a captivating continuation of the series, even if the plot is somewhat more predictable than in the previous book. Despite the familiar elements, Maclean's captivating narrative style managed to immerse me in the intricately drawn and multi-layered characters. As well as skilfully explores the complexities of desire and its impact on human emotions. The intertwining storylines keep you interested and the unexpected twists at the end add an exciting dimension to the narrative. Overall, the novel is a satisfying sequel that is a joy to read.
