The Murder Book by Lissa Marie Redmond

3.0

This was a good solid novel, but I did find myself looking back at the first in the series to refresh my memory - Lissa Marie Redmond doesn't give you a whole lot of refreshers on the previous novel. Which is, I suppose, fairly typical for the criminal thrillers, but I still was lost a few times. Lauren Riley is a well written character, in that she was credible in both her personality and character, but it felt like we didn't get to know her as well as we could've.

Overall a decent read - I would recommend it to others, but I don't think I'd preface it with, "But you MUST read..."
