This book was perfect. I loved Anequs, and how she refused to bend to colonial expectations. I love stories within stories, and there are lots of mini-stories in this book. I loved the poly and bi rep, I feel like it fit seamlessly into the book. There was also an autistic character. His struggle was very difficult for me to read, but it was nice watching his friendships and confidence develop. There were lots of moments where I felt angry on Anequs' behalf. And don't let me forget, dragons!
