Loving Frank by Nancy Horan
5.0
I love Frank Lloyd Wright's stuff...and know nothing about his life....so, I grabbed this book.
I LOVED reading the story about Mamah. It struck many a cord...and had me thinking about her difficulties of choosing her life/happiness over her children, but I really respected her story. I also spent a lot of the book wondering how much of it was true...and where the author took her liberties. The end FLOORED me.., but the story kept me enthralled to the end.
The story is about a married woman who has an affair with Wright. The affair becomes her life---and she abandons her family to follow Wright to Europe and then later Wisconsin. It is also about her search for finding her own identity.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about strong woman...or is interested in Wright.
