In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin, by Erik Larson

4.0

I got a little lost at times trying to keep track of all the different "players" in this tale, but overall a fascinating look into the rise of Hitler from the perspective of the Dodd family. Larson has such a talent for pulling historical research into a book that reads like a novel.
