Meh. Wish I could rate parts separately (as always). I liked the stories. I thought they were good and interesting and they kept my attention after half way through, when it started picking up more, the beginning was fine, just slower.

My issue is that I knew who BOTH killers were. Well, with the one, I knew that
Spoiler it was going to be someone from foster care that Sam knew but didn't remember
. Then with the other one, I knew the moment we met that character, if it was a surprise to anyone, ugh! Only the very ending surprised me, it was the only thing I didn't see coming, made sense tho.

I'll probably read more just because I'll forget how predictable these are, and if nothing else, they are good for quick reads for challenges, which is what it was for.
