Mouse Guard:Fall 1152 is a graphic novel I'd highly recommend to fellow fans of the sort of fantasy sub-genre of "woodland creatures have quasi-medieval societies that are under attack by fellow woodland creatures". This graphic novel veers more toward a dark fantasy take on this sub-genre and has some focus on the world's politics. It's very plot focused, but the characters are strongly defined and interesting to follow through the plot. Additionally, the art is very beautiful and really gets across a sense of scale. These mice are very small in a very big, dangerous world and the art truly emphasizes that.
