Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.

I was a bit iffy  seeing the medieval French "lot" translated as "a lot", it did not inspire confidence. The time switching tale and the predictable arc soon made it clear this was not the book for me, and was instead another chance to strengthen and exercise  my DNF finger.
