The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert: An English Professor's Journey Into Christian Faith by Rosaria Champagne Butterfield

4.0

I sought out this book on audio after reading The Gospel Comes With A House Key, Rosaria Butterfield's latest book. This one was much more choppy, as it seems to be written over the course of a few years, but didn't seem to detract from the effectiveness of her message. Even though I disagree with parts of her doctrine, to the extent of being uncomfortable, it was good to be challenged and good to hear from other perspectives.
What I loved about this book was her personal testimony. She goes from one strongly convinced worldview to another, from radical feminist, to Christ follower, and I strongly admire her convictions and how she lives her life (even if not having all the same convictions).
