Blaire and Ronan are rival shop owners battling for business; except they couldn't be more different. Blaire runs Booze and Buttercream, a cupcake cafe filled with unicorn glasses and frosting classes, whereas Ronan runs the Knight Cap, a sports bar, that has axe throwing. Enter a big chain moving in across the street, which could hurt both their businesses and the unlikely pair team up doing joint events after being at odds and make some magic happen.
Both MCs are equally loveable and were perfectly written. I do feel it was a bit slow to start, but that also could just be my want for more as once they started getting along, I felt it ended to soon or maybe a book two is needed to see how things turn out. It's definitely a fun, easy, super cute read, kind of enemies to lovers, but more contemporary romance with a HEA & just a little bit of spice that makes you want a cupcake!
