I gave this the rating I did based on my enjoyment of it as a young adult but I think had I read it a few years ago when I added it to my TBR, or when I was 14 or 15 it would've been higher. Definitely recommend for younger readers; I'm just realizing I'm not really enjoying YA much anymore.
