Copperhead, Volume 2 by Jay Faerber

4.0

Most sci-fi Western noirs (a testament to genre fiction in the graphic novel world that I can think of several) have a fairly tedious pace as they lay out a universe, and then get into the intricacies of characters. Copperhead has been all character and all plot since the opening scene. The world unfolds around the action, which I'm really enjoying.

I reread volume one so it was still fresh in my mind for volume two, and I'm glad I did. While this volume would also make a fun introduction, i also does a nice jo of building off the events of the previous volume.

I'm very intrigued to see where this series goes.
