While I didn't give each book 5 stars, I think as a complete package, Mistborn is amazing. It packages together worldbuilding, compelling characters, mystery and an intricate bow into trilogy that I think every high fantasy fan should read. Going into it, I'd heard that there aren't open ends and everything is dealt with and while there are a few tiny uncertainties left, I have to agree. Practically all the mysteries are solved satisfyingly. Admittedly, WoA was quite slow and I'm not 100% sold on the end twist, but aside from that, Mistborn is amazing, so it's getting 5 stars from me.
