ohhh man. SUCH a fun book, really innovative premise and loved Carolyn. this book has fun adventure + romance + philosophy + talking animals + normal Americans + science so advanced it's indistinguishable from magic. I stayed up entirely too late finishing it last night, and really enjoyed every minute. it took some unexpected twists and turns and was overall super entertaining, but I was thinking and engaged the whole time trying to figure out what was going on and going to happen next. a bit confusing at the beginning but roll with it and it clears up pretty quickly.
