The Younglings: Fire & Magic by Helena M Craggs

4.5/5 rounded to 5 for Goodreads. I really enjoyed the second installment in the series. There was a lot of action and I like meeting some new characters.
I loved revisiting "old friends" and seeing what new adventures they got up to (or rather were put through). The bond between friends only grew stronger and I liked following them on their progress and understanding of each other.
There were a couple of relationship bits that were sped through quickly and I personally didn't feel like they were needed - the story was great without them.
Overall, I cannot wait for the next book (coming out next year) - I need to see where it goes next, as there's some interesting teasers.
