This was an absolute masterpiece, and Brit Bennett is definitely becoming one of my auto-read authors. Bennett's ability to create intricate plot lines with complex characters and family dramas is just amazing. I got super invested in all of the character's growth and struggles throughout the story and honestly they're all just wonderful to read about. This book absolutely deserves all the hype it receives so if you've ever contemplated reading this, I would highly recommend doing so because even though it may seem daunting, the themes and discussions are wonderfully complex and thought-provoking while also being accessible. Absolutely delicious food for thought.
