The Quality of Silence by Rosamund Lupton

Implausible but still exciting. A brilliant evocation of the stark beauty of the Alaskan wilderness in the darkness of winter. However, can you really imagine putting your beloved daughter at risk by taking her on an incredibly dangerous journey through northern Alaska in winter? Not likely! Plus, I hope somebody compensates Mr Azizi for the loss of his lorry!
