I love a woman who doesn’t take so grief from a man, especially a powerful and wealthy man.
I didn’t really know what to think going in to this book, I went in blind like I like to. And I have to say kind of glad I did.

Dominic, a powerful man loses his father to death. He isn’t to heart broken about it but he doesn’t want to deal with the aftermath either. He isn’t a guy who takes no very well. Probably because he doesn’t get told it very much like at all. So right there Abby peaks his interest because she does say no and she says it in a big way.

When he sees Abby in his house cleaning, she was helping her sick sister so she wouldn’t lose her job. Sparks fly between the two. Only Abby doesn’t act like Dom expects.
Abby who is used to taking care of everyone since her parents died, doesn’t let anyone steam roll her. I loved that she is a teacher though she has the tough yet soft way about her.

The push and pull with these characters is really neat to read about. I laughed and smiled so much in this book. Even the secondary characters pull you in. I want to know more about her sister Lily and Dom’s mom. Oh and Jake, he seems like an intriguing guys to say the least.

But the ending was kind of funny after they land…. Yeah I won’t give it away but It was another great read to get me out of the one book head space I was in. Fun feel good book this one is.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion and I am allowed to have it.*
