This is a very interesting story arc that gives readers a deeper look and a deeper understanding to Superman’s rarely seen dark side, the side he keeps tabs on controlling as he continually looks toward the light, unlike his surrogate brother Bruce. Readers have a clear look at the why he contains it, not just the rage, but the power he has as well. That being said, I don’t think I have to say how well written this issue was. Given the deep insight into Superman, it’s evident by that that Pak has done an amazing job with this story arc while simultaneously breathing life into an old story arc.
