I couldn't get past the way Alexander used sex to keep Clara in line. It really just felt like he didn't care at all about her, only what she would allow him to do to her. Quitting her job, keeping things from her, all of it was more controlling than anything. I didn't see it as him loving her and wanting to protect her. It was crazy. I ended up getting so irritated with the sex scenes. It was constant. As much as I want to read Belle's story, I don't think I can deal with anymore from the series. I tried to go on for Clara and Belle, but I just can't
