Bloom Into You, Vol. 5 by Nakatani Nio

5.0

Truly another great volume, and what I think is a much better lead-up to the climax of the story compared to Volume 4. This is definitely the volume where Touko’s character arc shines the brightest and where she is truly at her lowest point. She becomes so complex in this volume, and you also get to see the slightest inkling of her willing to change and resolve her inner conflict that has existed this entire series. Sayaka becomes more confident, Koyomi gets her own spotlight, Akari and Doujima get a cute little moment as well, and of course, Yuu’s feelings for Touko become even more clear. Also this volume is iconic alone for the aquarium date
