River is a sociopath who often gets bored and restless in life. When he happens to slum it for a drink in a dive bar and he sets his sights on a gorgeous red head who smells like scared rabbit and River is on the hunt. He’s found a new toy to play with and he’s excited, the fact that he is being guarded but 2 heavy set pigs is no obstacle for River.  What River does not expect is for this redhead to intrigue and excite him past a short time, as time goes on, River becomes more obsessed and more fascinated by Theo…. But people have hurt Theo and River wants revenge on those who haunt his man when sleeping.

Theo is a victim. He has not known love or kindness his entire life. He has always been the punching bag for his ‘owners’ and a body to use for the customers. An evening just like any others, Theo standing next to a disgusting customer trying to disassociate and not think about where the evening is leading, when a gorgeous muscled man comes out of nowhere and announces that Theo or ‘Red’ as he calls him is now his, to own.
Theo is terrified, River may be gorgeous, but that means nothing if he’s just like all the rest of them. Theo finds kindness is an otherwise cold man, he found love.

Amazing book! Highly recommend.
