Bonfire by Krysten Ritter

Ehhhhhh.... I had hoped for a spine chilling murder mystery, and I just kinda got an annoying main character set in an interesting story, all happening in a setting that doesn't make any sense. None of the antagonists truly have motives for what they do, and Abby is that character that everyone seems to hate in highschool, but somehow comes back hot, and all the dudes are falling at her feet. (ugh)
Spoiler I did like the mercury poisoning, but I felt like the symptoms could have been described more so the readers at least had a chance to figure it out.
Also, I felt like Ritter tried to explain Kaycee's actions, but by the end of the story I was left more confused than at the beginning. There were also multiple story lines that were probably supposed to all come together at the very end, but still somehow ended up separate, with little to no overlaps.
