The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

2.0

This book started really well. Like it started as a 5 star book but it gradually descended to this current state.

The first part of the book was really fun, but then it just went downhill. The whole conflict the book revolved around was stupid and not worth it.
The book had so much wasted potential, if the plot had focused more on the career and finding your place trope(which was hinted at passing), the family roots and culture and dynamics instead of just hinting these things out of nowhere then I guess I would have liked it more.

The book was a romance novel through and through with less than little character development(you dont discover these things overnight or off the pages), I mean you gush about a job for almost 2/3rd part of the book and then you get fired and then you just magically discover the right path for you
