To Be a Machine: Adventures Among Cyborgs, Utopians, Hackers, and the Futurists Solving the Modest Problem of Death by Mark O'Connell

3.5
O'Connell looks at transhumanism through a slightly less than open-minded lens here, but he acknowledges the fact that he is approaching the topic from a 'deathist' POV. An interesting read, but maybe not the book for you if you earnestly want to learn more about and perhaps embrace transhumanist views.
Minor: Medical content
O'Connell brings up male genitals and orgasms slightly more frequently than I would be comfortable with in a book that is meant to be about technology
