An entertaining YA slasher horror. I liked the horror movie quotes at the beginning of each chapter. The story revolves around Noelle who loves all things horror. Noelle throws an exclusive halloween party for her most influential classmates in hopes to boost her popularity and land a podcast deal. There's blood, it's gory, a budding romance at such an inconvenient time and some outrageously funny moments "I killed her because ketchup on tacos is a hate crime." Do these teens really know each other and what will be revealed as they try to survive the night? Noelle's been prepping for this her whole life but will she be the final girl. There's secrets an underlying mystery and revenge plot because who is this psycho clown that wants to punish these teens in a killer game of tag and you're dead. If this were a movie it'd be something I'd watch it over and over again like I do with the Scream franchise. Same vibes.
