This is the second book in the 5 book series, Blue is for Nightmares.
This book is almost exactly the same as the first book; same main characters, same-ish plot, similar story line and it even takes place at their school... again. Only slightly different mystery and a couple new characters are added.
Stacey has nightmares about bad things that are going to happen and her nightmares can predict things and they hold truth.
The mystery,(and all the action), is solved and over within the last 50ish pages.
