Wilder by Rebecca Yarros
4.0
Riding a high after finishing Fourth Wing, I decided to go out and see what other books Rebecca Yarros had available to offer and I came across this one. Added bonus was that it was also available on Kindle Unlimited.
Paxton Wilder is a Renegade, the leader of a group of young YouTubers who perform X-Game like stunts and share it on YouTube. Leah is a young woman with scars from her past who is assigned to tutor Paxton to ensure he passes his classes.
I will say that this story jumps right in from the first chapter which is something I always appreciate. And I felt the book kept a good pace all the way through with a small twist at the end. This is the first of a series and while I may circle back to the other two in the series, it’s not high on my TBR.
Would I read this book again? Yes, but I wouldn’t be clamoring for it
Overall: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️
