Having loved a few of Claire's previous books, I was very excited about this but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. The story just felt all over the place and hard to keep track of at times. I didn't feel as though I had enough explanation of how the show worked and had no concept of how much time was passing, which made the romance feel incredibly insta-lovey (my least favourite trope).
This book held so much promise and I loved the initial eerie vibes of the house and the discussions surrounding Lucky's asexuality but other than those two elements (and Rebel, who was wonderful), I sadly don't feel as though this story was executed to its fullest potential. That being said, it was a fun read, I just wanted more from it.
