Tom, Alice, and the Spook escape the County as it is invaded. They land on the island Mona, whose residents don't take kindly to strangers. The guard uses an abhuman to find witches. Tom and Alice are accused of being witches and tested to see if they are indeed so. They are imprisoned only to find out that another witch has also been captured: Boney Lizzie and she is even more powerful than ever.
