Dark Possession by Christine Feehan

So, we got to see werewolves in here. That was cool. MaryAnn was a very kind and strong heroine, though I had to wonder at her ridiculous fashion choices in the rain forest. It was her armor, I get that, but still. I've wanted to see her happy though, and her hero, Manolito, was the perfect guy for her. In the previous book, he marked her without telling anyone, and while he had her under compulsion. So, she had no clue about their connection when this started. Adding to that, Manolito began the story with memory loss, as he'd woken up too early from an injury that almost caused him to die. He was trapped between the normal world and the spirit world, and that made for a great plotline. The spirit world was definitely creepy. Also, MaryAnn was helping Jasmine and Solange overcome their trauma while learning about herself and being under attack by jaguar, vampire, and mage. Also, there was an interesting side character named Luiz, and I just want him happy. Manolito is my favorite De La Cruz brother so far.
