i actually don’t know what to say about this book that hasn’t been said. when i first read it years ago now i didn’t like it. i didn’t care for the politicalness, or even for Katniss’ trauma. but now, i see that this book is the thesis for the whole series. for what it is to value human life and to not value it. to heal, and to move on. and to feel safe. i love mockingjay. i love this series. i wouldn’t change a single thing about them. or the journey and role that they have also played throughout my life.
