I borrowed this as my Kindle Prime book for January. It was by the same author as "The Legend" trilogy, which was one of my five star reads for 2015. This was really good too, although it didn't grab me quite as much. I did really like the story and the characters, it was fast moving, although I did get a little exhausted from all the running. I wasn't quite sure the relationships between some of aliens and earthlings were believable (Dex and Rachel I loved though).
I remember seeing a few "British" words sneaking through in the "Legend" series, even though the setting is in the United States and none of the characters are British. It happened here too ... just little things like "finding a parking, safety-belt, aeroplanes, crisps" ... just something I pick up on.
As far as I could tell, this was a stand alone book ... but I'd continue on if it was a series. It was a conclusive ending to this story, but definitely open ended to where it could go.
