Anaïs Nin - Sur la mer des mensonges by Léonie Bischoff

This is hands down the most beautiful graphic novel I have ever read. The drawings are breathtaking, the colors are perfect, every detail is so elegant and inspired. I knew very little about Nin's life and I am now very curious about her diaries. Of course it's an upsetting story on many levels, but I think it was really smartly drawn, and I had to pause at many a page to wonder at the art and the choices it contains. Huge incest trigger warning.
