I'm quite bummed about this book honestly, I got it on Audible last year and, was pretty excited to start on it, only for the book to be pretty meh. It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad. Just okay.

I was getting into it in the first half of the book. It was pretty straight to the point, which I was confused but was thinking maybe there will be more explaining as I continue to read it. Ummmmm, no not really. Nothing really is making sense, and I'm already tired being in the FMC's mind. She's repetitive and really just a spoiled brat. Which fine, fair.

Towards the middle half, I'm starting to realize there's absolutely no world building so I don't even know what's really going on. No detailed on the castle, the forest, or even damn freaking food.

The stew was marvelous and the meat was tender to chew...
The forest was dark and it was as if it was helping me hide....

Okay....want to further elaborate on that?

There is just a lot of plot holes and nothing truly leading up to peak of the books. So I won't be continuing the series any time soon.

P.S
How tf was she even able to have powers when she never had them to begin with? And she all of a sudden is able to control her "powers"? That does NOT make any sense
