I wanted to love this book. I watched a tiktok review of it that made it sound so good. I liked the first bit of the book… the main character is really sweet and I loved the journey he went on with the other main character. I love a book that dives into mental health issues realistically, which this book did, but it relied on it as a crutch for the entire plot of the book. I started to be exhausted by the same back and forth over and over again. It took me 2 weeks to read this because I found I just didn’t want to pick it back up and deal with all that.
