Fire Night by Penelope Douglas

At first, I love it. I love how Emory and Will just hate each other but because of love. They love so hard they hate each other. I love that. I love BlackChurch and the boys are interesting. Other than the spice and the flashbacks, which are amazing btw, the spice is spicy and will is one little good boy (no, they do not say that but will is a sub, its obvious).

HOWEVER, I do not like those books or I won't recommend those books who took the entire 70% telling a story but that is not relevant to the ending. I know the flashbacks actually do make sense to the ending. But the time they are in Blackchurch, it's just some bonding session between everyone and at the end, it was nothing. I don't get it and it was such a read, it was long and I think author can shorten it?

Why still a 3 even tho it's "bad"? Because the story is actually good, but it's just too long. There are so many unanswered questions. Who is Taylor, why they are there? What happened to the girl in the Cove, with the pink tutu? Why when in Will's POV, he acts like he didn't know what's going on, like it's too obvious and stop pretending you are there bc ur bad, it's ur own POV and just be honest to yourself. And also why Will just feed to his temper and won't talk things out with Emory all these times? Since he's such a great planner and got this long game going on?

Anyways, I enjoyed pretty much the ending. Even though the train orgy was unnecessary, idk what it supposed to mean? Alex and Emory are actually friends? Emory is bi? or that's just how people say "sorry" in Thunder Bay?

I got confused at the end with the whole thing going on. Everyone was there and I was so confused but luckily I pushed through. I love the epilogue tho, get to see everyone's life and family. Still team Damon till this day. However, that epilogue was so weird with the people and the girl.

Anyways, not the last book of the series. But it's the closing that's great. I'm happy everyone has someone and their little family. Wish they just stop it there and be a normal family. Stop with the devil's night and all the cringe creepy shit. Stop howling, yall are not 16 anymore. Yall are like what 30?

Thanks, Damon for stopping making babies
