incredibly important book. a collection of memories and feelings from many real people formed the characters in this book, and it is both incredibly inspiring and devastating at the same time. the characters felt so real, and i had to constantly remind myself that this was a book, but at the same time it's a collection of so many people. this book gave me a personal insight to the isreal-palestine war, and a view on how never having a place in the world affects people. of how in such devastating conditions, hope still flourishes, and traditions and culture will never die. free palestine.
